So I got a new-ish movie in the mail from Netflix today. Splice. Had heard it was somewhat strange, but I enjoy sci-fi so I figured I'd give it a shock. "Strange" was an understatement. Basically husband-wife research team "create" a humanoid thing, and become very attached to it. The research organization isn't happy, so they have to keep "it" a secret. But they didn't realize it would change genders and kill people. That's just a brief description, staying away from the really weird parts. Don't know who got the idea for the story, but it was very disturbing. If you think you might want to see it, I would advise you to read up first. Still squeamish from watching it! Yuck!

Now that I'm on the topic of movies... can't wait to see Harry Potter 7 Part 1 so soon!!! Wish they didn't split it up. Have to play the waiting game one more time after Part 1...
